Occupation: full-time Media and Communications student (junior/ 3rd year) at EWHA Women’s University in Seoul, South Korea.
As a young, socially aware woman, I believe that we all, especially young people and those of us within the global media and communications community, can work collaboratively to help achieve the UN’s 17 SDGs, 2030 to create a better, peaceful and sustainable world for ourselves and future generations.
I am committed to using media communications as a ‘cool tool’ to create change, especially in education, work, youth, gender, food, travel, music, fashion, cosmetics, art, culture and design. I am also the (voluntary) international spokesperson and MCO (Media and Communications Officer) for OSHliteracy.org; we are the only voluntary organization in the world completely committed to reducing the unacceptably high numbers of deaths, injuries and losses which occur globally due to poor Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) communications and we have already achieved significant success.
I love being young, female, studying at EWHA and living in Seoul; I am in love with Korea and its culture; I enjoy being active, learning new things, hearing new ideas, going to new places, meeting new people, having new experiences, tackling new challenges and above all, having fun. To relax, I like to spend time together with friends and family to cook, eat, walk and talk. My friends and family describe me as intelligent, driven, hardworking, friendly, active, and fun.
If you would like to get in contact to share an idea or discuss a possible project, please do. It may take a while, but rest assured, like everything else I do, I will try my very best to get a reply to you ASAP.
Thanks,
Annie.
